A Short Conversation in Plain English

Have you ever thought about imperialism? What is it all about? Ask someone who has experience about imperialism. I had a chance to sit with a friend of mine, David (name changed) for a cup of tea, who has lived most of his life under occupation and has good understanding about imperialism. According to him, imperialism is a type of sponsorship of colonization and in that pursuit one can even use force be that military or otherwise. He answered me some unanswered questions and explained the real meaning of imperialism, in plain English. Here are some excerpts of our conversation:
